Willi Roesner served in the 1st Stuka Geschwader in Poland, Franc, England and in the Med, he went missing in Russia in 1942 getting a posthumous Front clasp in silver and the Bronze italian Bravery medal.
There is not a lot of info around about Stuka1 but the best idea you can get is in Paul Massuccis translation of the citation for the Italian medal.

"skillful and valiant dive bombing. For continuous and numerous day and night attacks . Contributed greatly to the destruction of yards and enemy harbour systems, to the sinking of ship from armored war and cargo vessel and to the joined annihilation of columns of opposing troops. In every circumstance and without thought of risk it confirmed its beautiful military virture"
( I guess thats an online translater eh Paul ;-)
